The Fiddles -n- Vittles show is made up of the Good Ol’ Mountain Dewds and the Green Grass Cloggers. The Good Ol’ Mountain Dewds hail from Buncombe County, North Carolina and feature the blue-ribbon fiddling of Steve Trismen and the solid rhythm guitar playing of Steve Burnside. Along with solid harmony singing, the two Steve’s whip up tunes from local popular bluegrass, country and western swing melodies. As partners for over 25 years, the Dewds draw from a variety of mountain and modern influences that have made the Great Smokey Mountains the birthplace of America’s traditional country music sound.
Now in their second year as performers for the Crest Mountain Dinner Show, the Dewds will be joined with members of the esteemed Green Grass Cloggers, an Asheville based dance troupe popular in the Carolinas for over 40 years! Led by Rodney Sutton, the Cloggers perform entertaining mountain dance routines in their own unique way. Always fun, audience members are invited to join them on the dance floor or in their famous “sit-down” square dance.
