Reese Lasher has lived in the Asheville area since he was 12 years old and his wife, Jan, is a true Asheville native. He has been involved with real estate development throughout his professional career. As a matter of fact, he put himself through college at Western Carolina University by working construction for various real estate developments. Today, he is the owner and developer of Crest Mountain Commercial Properties, as well as the Crest Mountain Dinner Theater.
Reese purchased the corporate resort 10 years ago. The facilities at Crest Mountain were formerly Ben Lippen School, which was a private school for missionary students. The property overlooking downtown Asheville and Biltmore Estate with breathtaking views, has an interesting history. Reese’s vision was to expand on that legacy by providing family-friendly entertainment in Asheville and that is exactly what he did!
